Common Sense Advisory, a consultancy that assisted both established and start-up firms in developing their e-commerce strategies. For more than six years, he was a principal analyst at Forrester Research in Cambridge, Mass. During that time, Don delivered trend-setting reports on globalization, Web content management, digital marketing, data warehousing and application development.
Prior to joining Forrester, Don was a co-founder of Interbase Software Corporation, developer of the era's most technologically advanced relational database server. Before joining the business world, DePalma was a member of academe as a linguist specialising in generative grammar, computational linguistics, and the historical phonology of Slavic languages.
