Scott Fraser
Speaker Bio:

Mr. Fraser joined Braxton Associates, the strategy consulting practice of Deloitte Consulting, in 1980 . Since then he has worked with senior executives in variety of manufacturing and consumer business sectors, including plastics and petrochemicals, basic materials, high-tech, and food processing.  He has extensive experience in helping companies grow profitably via internal growth, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and alliances.

He recently returned to the Boston office from an eight year assignment in the Asia Pacific region where he organized and managed the firm's strategy practices in Australia/New Zealand and in East Asia. While in Asia, Scott advised senior executives of Western and Asian MNCs on the development and implementation of business strategy at both country and regional levels, and on financial and operational restructuring in response to the Asian economic crisis.

Since his return to the US, Scott has worked with clients in manufacturing industries on new business development and e-Business initiatives  He currently leads the firm's NE regional market development initiative in the field of Strategic Enterprise Management (SEM), which is focused on implementation of technology-enabled executive decision support systems.

Prior to joining Braxton Associates, he managed the start-up of an international contracting company, and held an appointment with the Harvard Business School's International Senior Managers Program in Lausanne, Switzerland. He also served as an officer in the US Navy from 1969-1974.

Scott holds degrees from the Harvard Business School (MBA with Distinction) and the University of Connecticut (BA). He has published articles in various management journals, including Harvard Business Review, and is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer at management conferences and business schools.

Scott and his wife, Svea, live in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
