Camillia Hsu Director, Global Application Development, Asia Pacific, Oracle Corporation Camillia (Cami) Hsu is responsible for globalization of application software for the Asia Pacific region at Oracle. Cami is located at Oracle's Corporate world headquarters in Redwood Shores, California. Cami has experience in high-tech marketing, international management strategy, and global finance. Prior to Oracle, Cami was a world-wide product marketing manager at Apple Computer where she led global software and hardware product development teams (Americas, Europe, Japan) in handwriting recognition software and handheld computing devices. Cami has experience managing an average daily trading volume of $280 million in the global financial markets for Progressive Partners. Cami was an analyst at Morgan Stanley where she was certified with a Series-7 license. Cami's global exposure includes countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Cami, a Texas-Ex Alumni Award recipient, earned a bachelor's degree in management information systems from the University of Texas at Austin while starting-up an information technology company with the Texas Department of Aviation as a customer. Cami was also educated in Switzerland, where she earned her MBA from IMD, the International Institute for Management Development. Concurrent with her MBA studies, Cami engaged in European strategic management consulting for Pepsi Foods International to develop a turnaround strategy for an acquired privatised company in an emerging market region. The strategy was implemented by the CEO and management board. European Business Week magazine has ranked the company as one of the most successful privatised companies in Eastern-Europe. Over the years Cami has volunteered for efforts like the Turning Point Program, Multiple Sclerosis Society, New York Cares, Beth Israel Hospital, Special Olympics, Texas State School for the Deaf and Blind, and the Easter Seals Telethon. Cami was a recipient of the 'Booz Allen Hamilton TIE Award' for her contribution to an international humanitarian relief effort for the children of all ethnic backgrounds who were in UNHCR refugee camps due to the former-Yugoslavia conflict. |
